The building of the Bourse de Commerce bears witness to four centuries of architectural and technical prowess.
It combines the first isolated column of Paris, built in the 15th century for the hotel of Catherine de Medici, the remains of a corn exchange with the impressive circular plan of the 18th century, covered since 1812 by a spectacular dome of metal and glass. It was recomposed in 1889 to become the "Bourse de Commerce".
Located in the center of Paris, in the garden of Les Halles and opening onto the rue du Louvre, this building is emblematic of the history of Paris and its architecture. After an exemplary restoration that has preserved all its beauty, it is now turning to contemporary creation.
